Adult Practitioner FullTime Or PartTimeChildren's Practitioner PartTimeIntegrated Support Manager FullTimeIntegrated Support Coordinator FullTime Or PartTimeIsva (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) FullTimeSessional CounsellorsWe are recruiting an Adult Practitioner to join our team The role provides specialist counselling and support to adults who have experienced rape sexual violence or sexual abuse The role includes linemanagement of sessional or volunteer counsellors and activities to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence amongst agencies and the wider community We are recruiting a Children's Practitioner to join our team The role provides specialist support to children under 12 (this age is flexible depending on the child’s level of maturity) who have experienced or are at risk of sexual abuse and their parents and carers The role also includes wider responsibilities as a member of CARA’s staff team including management of sessional and/or volunteer counsellors and activities to raise awareness of the impact of sexual violence amongst agencies and the wider community This is a new and exciting role which involves developing and leading a pilot project providing a range of new services for CARA clients to supplement our existing provision These services will particularly be aimed at clients who have a high level of immediate need Services to be developed will include onetoone tailored emotional support and psychoeducation activities support in accessing mental health or other external services a programme of regular groups This is a new and exciting role which involves supporting the development and implementation of a pilot project providing a range of new support services for CARA clients to supplement our existing provision These services will particularly be aimed at clients who have a high level of immediate need Services to be provided will include onetoone tailored emotional support and psychoeducation activities support in accessing mental health or other external services a programme of regular groups We are recruiting an ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Adviser) to join our team ISVAs provide emotional and practical support and information to victims and survivors of sexual violence who have reported to the police or are considering reporting to the police The role of an ISVA is to support victims and survivors by 1 Ensuring their voice is heard 2 Helping them make the choices that feel right for them 3 Accompanying them to important appointments and to court 4 Supporting them with their next steps after the legal process is over regardless of the outcome of the case If victims and survivors are considering reporting to the police ISVAs can also help them by 5 Providing impartial information to enable them to make an informed decision 6 Offering an overview of police processes and what to expect if they do decide to report 7 Supporting them in their next steps We are looking for sessional counsellors to join our team to support young people or adults who have experienced any form of sexual violence.
